Mun Shin Art Museum

Mun Shin Art Museum stands on the hill of Chusan-dong, Masan, looking down the Masan sae. World-famous sculpture Mun Shin devoted his 14 years to building his museum from 1980 to 1994. The museum covers the spacious area.(25,000 pyeong) The 1st Exhibition Hall displays his sculpture work of ebony or pine tree and bronze work on the first floor and his hand-written manuscript, information material and stand-glasses works on the second floor.
The 2nd Exhibition Hall displays oil painting of his early days, gyps work. The artshop displays postcards, rings and necklaces. The postcard was made by printing his work, and the rings and necklaces are m miniatures of his works. Mun Shin Art Museum holds an annual event in each May. in which month he died.
The event include Illuminated Sculpture Exhibition, Movie and Music Concert. His sculptures are illuminated in the outdoor hall and foundation activities. The movie shoes his works and activities. The museum is the first enlisted one as a private museum.
